Killed Hayes 1.0

 There is a lot too like about Killian Hayes but its just not happening. So why just why do we keep believing in this kid? The process of his game has never been there, and probably never will be. This is like trying to fix a car that doesn't have a motor and you just keep pouring everything into but dang it just wont start. Did anyone take the time to check under the hood or no, I seriously question this. Why would a team that has always had a knack for finding great guards waste their time on a french development project? It never made sense be honest you never said, oh man killian Hayes is it he gone be that dude. Nope nobody said that ever, unless it was some bot account he made to give himself some faith. That probably even missed the net.

Now before I completely obliterate his ability as a shooter lets take a sec and say some positive things about his game. Nevermind, writers block. So, why keep putting our faith into this kid that has never had any idea how to shoot a basketball and can barely dunk at 6'5. I've seen 35+ beer leaguers sink shots with more consistency and rhythm than this kid did even before he was drafted. I mean did you watch his highlight tape? Me neither cant find it on youtube there was one clip of some kid lofting up air balls in a pumpkin costume I think, anyway trash can. It even says it on his draft profile everything were seeing today.

Potential is there but check it out everything that is negative on their he has become. This is so much more then pain when you remember he was 7th, 7th overall man look at what they passed on for a developmental french kid. But we have seen this before, and that is where the real problem is Frank Ntilikina.

Basically the same profile but more athletic and not as great of a passer in traffic. How did noone see this coming is beyond me, it was just so obvious. Like when you looking for the half gallon of milk in the fridge door and start moving everything around, you know!! 

So we dump a high lottery pick on this kid that is basically Frank 2.0 just hoping it wont be the same. In the middle of Covid nonetheless like what! He gets hurt early that "slows" his development up even more. Survives a roster overhaul so now he has too learn new teammates. Wait didn't Bey and Stewart too, yupp sure did. So this offseason he supposedly sees a "shot doctor" who was that his garbage man sheeesh. Maybe he should have been with Beef Stew on the N.Y. playground at 3 a.m. sinking shots in the rain. I just imagine that's how Beef Stew trains lol. But, hey he can play defense right, right, wrong, no Star Wars meme needed here he's just so god awful at basketball.

Wait there's more he suddenly has no close-up/mid range and cant even use his right hand at all. Casey might as well tie it behind his back before he steps out he might actually play better! How does that happen I mean even High School kids can hit layups with both hands I did and I don't even ball. But still we say just let him develop give him time he just needs this or that. As if he doesn't have access to some of the most elite trainers in the game or the money too pay for them. So is his shot just so broken that noone can fix it, noone even wants to touch it? Sure seems like nobody opened the hood on it too check and make sure the motor was there to begin with. You know, because it hasn't been there, and noone from France has been an elite shooter really. Name a legit guard with elite shooting skills from France ever ill wait. Okay so anyone out there got one for me ill keep waiting it could be awhile. So most of the Pistons fanbase are done with this kid lets just move on already. Cut our losses ill take my chances with a wiley vet to shore up his spot. As if we weren't all there already now we have to actually talk about how Killed Hayes is.
